Angela M. Williams-Mitchell

Angela M. Williams-Mitchell is a Boston Police Officer, and has been a member of the department for nineteen years. She is also the President of the Massachusetts Association of Minority Law Enforcement Officers, Inc. (M.A.M.L.E.O) and the First Woman to be elected President of the organization.

Eight of the nineteen years she served the community of Roxbury and Dorchester as a Community Service Officer and was an active member of the Grove Hall Safe Neighborhood Initiative (GHSNI) - a Weed and Seed initiative that helped develop and foster cooperative relationships between law enforcement, community based organizations and residents in an effort to address quality of life issues in our community. 

She is also a member of the Massachusetts Hispanic Law Enforcement Association (MHLEA), the International Association of Women Police, the NAACP, and the Urban League of Massachusetts.

Angela is a resident of Roxbury, a wife, a mother of 3, and a grandmother of 5. She attended Bay State Junior College where she received her Associates Degree in Business Administration, UMass Dorchester where she studied Sociology, Springfield College in Manchester, NH where she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Human Services, and Boston University where she received her Master's in Criminal Justice and Urban Development.
