Jacquetta Van Zandt

Jacquetta is a former Legislative Aide for State Representative Linda Dorcena Forry. Prior to working for State Rep. Forry, Jacquetta worked for over 8 years in the university advancement field at Mount Ida College.  She has also volunteered on campaigns at both national and local elections, and in June of 2008, she was accepted into the Barack Obama Community Organizing Fellows program.

Jacquetta has volunteered with the campaign to re-elect State Representative Willie Mae Allen. She is a founding member of the Society of Black Socialites, a social organization dedicated to the empowerment and upward mobility of young African-American women in her community.

Jacquetta is a native of Boston with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Mount Ida College.
